Annie Murru MCPAT, BA, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) Annie (they/she/he) is a gutsy and passionate art psychotherapist dedicated to celebrating creativity and centring authenticity through expressive arts-based psychotherapy. Annie works from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, relational lens, and welcomes expressive arts (art, music, movement, drama) to the therapy room as helpers, guiding people toward emotional well-being and personal empowerment.

 

Annie works primarily with 2SLGBTQIA+ neurodiverse youth (age 10+) and adults, and their families.

 

Annie is a queer, gender fluid white settler raised by Sardinian immigrants. They completed their Master's Counselling Psychology Art Therapy (Adler University Vancouver 2022), post-graduate certificates in Addiction and Mental Health (Confederation College) and Community Mental Health (Lambton College), and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (Trent University 2014). Annie is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) through the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and a professional member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association
